Giving Back
Posted by Karen Cantwell on Jun 11, 2012 in Uncategorized | 1 comment At least once each day, I slow down from the grind and take a moment to reflect on my life and the many blessings I hold dear. My family, my friends, my health, my ability to do what I love – to write. These are all so important to me. It’s also important to me that I give back. To help others, because so many have helped me. It’s a regenerating circle.
When I wrote and published the short story, “It’s a Dunder-Bull Wife,” I never intended to make a profit on the proceeds. Once the initial publishing costs were recouped, I knew I would begin donating all proceeds to a charity. I’m so excited to say that the day is finally here, so from today’s date forward, all royalties from “It’s a Dunder-Bull Wife” will be donated to Make-a-Wish Foundation. It seems very fitting, and it’s a charity that I have supported for years. If you would like to learn more about Make-a-Wish Foundation, or make your own donation, you can CLICK HERE FOR THEIR WEBSITE.
Thank you for stopping by, and have a WONDERFUL week, full of love and laughter.
Best wishes, Karen
